Abstract
Hereby, we describe a case of an aggressive ossifying fibroma which presented with extensive mandibular swelling along with its surgical treatment, review of the histology, clinical behavior, and management of these uncommon but disfiguring lesions. Inspite of possessing a benign biological behavior, occasionally these tumors may reach a very large size. Such cases may require additional reconstructive surgery because of some esthetic and functional problems. The case described in this report is a good example of an aggressive ossifying fibroma of the mandible that was successfully treated.
