Abstract
Using a simple and reproducible method for GT assessment, confirmed the existence of gingival biotypes. About one-third of the sample corresponded to the features of the previously defined “thin scalloped biotype” (Cluster A). A section of the sample corresponded to the features of the previously defined “thick-flat biotype” (Cluster C). The other section could not be classified as such (Cluster B).
