The results of this study indicate that piezoelectric and traditional techniques for maxillary sinus lifts with intraoral grafts are both effective. The piezoelectric approach is better tolerated, less stressful for the bone tissue, and produces more predictable outcomes than the more invasive procedure with osteotrites.
