Abstract
At present, only a few laboratory examinations are considered essential, that is those related to hemostasis and organ functionality that can detect any abnormality and coagulation disorder involved in surgery and anesthesiology. The authors conclude that a screening of hemostatic and metabolic functions, including hemogram, INR, PT, PTT, fibrinogen, and blood glucose, is fundamental.
