Abstract
“Prosthetically driven implantology” means ideally placing implants according to the definitive restoration. The use of a radiographic/surgical template plays an important role in this approach. In fact, templates reduce risks related to wrong implant insertion. It allows to optimize treatment and the number of abutments and, at the same time, to plan implant lenght and diameter, thus reducing costs and operative time.
