Mythe endopsychique et possession

RésuméCe texte tente de démontrer en quoi le phénomène de possession est un fait psychopathologique dont on peut saisir les mécanismes d’expression sans pour autant s’enfermer dans des considérations ethnologiques d’ensemble. En cela que la culture n’est pas explicative, en elle-même, de tel ou tel trouble psychique, même si elle est vouée à instaurer la manière de l’admettre et les procédés thérapeutiques spécifiques à son traitement. S’appuyant sur l’analyse du cas, il insiste sur les ramifications singulières que suppose la situation du sujet confronté à la souffrance psychique.
