Le phénomène actuel des fausses victimes d’autrui

RésuméLa reconnaissance du caractère fallacieux de certaines accusations va transformer les plaignants en fausses victimes. On distinguera schématiquement les simulateurs, dont l’intention est de tromper des sujets sincères qui se croient indûment victimes. La multiplication apparente de ces phénomènes et leur retentissement médiatique amène à s’interroger sur des facteurs de société favorisants. Parmi ceux-ci, l’accent sera mis sur l’idéologie victimaire et sur la diffusion dans le public d’un langage psy et d’hypothèses psychopathologiques non fermement validées.

The admissibility in court of certain charges, albeit forged, has turned the plaintiff into a false victim. We will outline the malingerers, whose intention is to deceive, from those who are deluded into believing that they are true victims. The apparent increase of these phenomena heightened by the media leads one to wonder about the attractiveness of certain social factors. We’ll stress among those the victim's ideology as well as the diffusion and use by the public at large of a psychobabble and of some psychopathological yet not firmly established hypotheses.
