Abstract
Metastatic lesions to the head and neck are rare entities. These lesions are often the first sign of systemic disease but are generally a sign of widespread systemic disease and poor outcome. This article discusses the general process of metastasis and describes the signs and symptoms of distant carcinomas (infraclavicular) to the oral and maxillofacial region.
