Abstract
Paresthesia of lower lip due to orthodontic treatment is a rare condition and little described in the literature. The aim of the present report is to describe the first case of lower lip paresthesia after traction of the lower second premolar. The patient reported the most paresthesia in the first week of traction, which improved progressively with time. Total recovery was only noted after 13 months.
