Abstract
This article presents a case of class II, division 1 malocclusion in a girl aged 10 years and 2 months, who was treated with a combination of Herbst appliance, a nocturnal functional appliance for sagittal stabilization designed by the author, and fixed multibracket appliances. We discuss the diagnostic criteria, treatment objectives and treatment outcomes, as well as the results almost 5 years after treatment.
