Abstract
Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome is the most common presentation of sleepdisturbed breathing. The author presents currently available diagnostic and therapeutic modalities for obstructive sleep apnea syndrome emphasizing the key role of polysomnography in the diagnosis and describing available noninvasive and surgical treatment options.
