Abstract
Clinical indexes showed a substantial improvement in the study group. Aerobic cocci showed an higher sensibility to the proposed treatment as they are essential in the formation of the bacterial biofilm as the preamble of periodontal disease. Efficacy versus anaerobic bacteria such as P. gingivalis e F. nucleatum has been also noted.
