Abstract
This technique is indicated for cases with extreme bone resorption. It allows the reconstruction of the mandibular symphysis, without an intraoral approach and thus with minimized risk of bone graft exposure. Postoperative courses are uneventful. This technique is therefore indicated for elderly patients who complain about ill-fitting dentures.
