Abstract
Immunosuppressants are corner stone of transplant success. Ever since first transplant a continuous pharmaceutical effort is on to develop an ideal immunosuppressant to have minimal side effects. From high dose steroids to CNI, anti metabolites polyclonal antibodies and targeted monoclonal antibodies, all are efforts towards the same but with limitations. In last one decade better handling of these drugs, better impact combinations and more refined molecules have evolved. In this review we have given account of currently in use drugs and drugs of near future.
