Current Status of Radial Interventions

Trans radial approach to cardiac catheterization and per cutaneous coronary intervention is promising, with many advantages that seemingly outweigh the relatively few limitations when employed in the appropriate patient population. This approach carries the potential to be the standard approach in the setting of elective angioplasty, with increasing use in the emergency setting as well.
