The cause and implications of these cysts are discussed.Clinical PresentationA 55-year-old male was examined for neck pain of 3 months' duration. Radiographs of the cervical spine revealed a radiolucent lesion in the C5 vertebral body. He was eavaluated further with various investigations and was found to have pneumatocysts.ConclusionAn intravertebral pneumatocyst is a relatively rare condition and needs differentiation from a lytic lesion of spine, mainly metastasis.
