Abstract
Chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension is the only type of pulmonary hypertension that can be treated by surgery – PTE (Pulmonary Thromboendarterectomy). This is a highly specialized surgery and the management is difficult and complex. PTE is done only in selected centers across the world. Here we discuss one such case managed at our hospital.
