Abstract
Chemical submission is a real public health problem that has increased over the past few years, but not well managed by health care professionals. A French national prospective study profiled victims, determined consumption circumstances and surveyed year after year the different psychoactive drugs used. There is a significant proportion of doubtful cases without any evaluation. Therefore, recognizing chemical submission suspicion is the first step of the medical care including medical prescriptions, biological fluids sampling and psychological help. Procedures have been developed during national follow-up, to help health care professionals managing victims.
