Abstract
The medical evacuation by air ambulance to Norway of a humanitarian physician in Sierra Leone last October follows a process established with the WHO since few years. The speed response is one of the conditions of the operation success, following precise decision criteria, shore up by medical contacts with the local treating doctors.
