Abstract
Since the last 10Â years, in Iraq and Afghanistan, the US and British Defense Medical Services have developed new managements of polytraumas in war zones called “Damage Control Resuscitation” and “Damage Control Surgery”. Due to its specific location and combat casualties recruitment, Camp Bastion has been a unique place in the world to improve these new concepts, so called the “Bastion Way”.
