Abstract
If epileptic seizure is related to an epilepsy onset, paraclinical explorations are aimed to characterize an epileptic syndrome (idiopathic or symptomatic). Then EEG and cerebral imaging are imperative, eventually completed by specialized investigations (genetics, metabolic, functional imaging).
