Abstract
The Harmonic Scalpelâ¢, LigaSureâ¢, CUSA® and Aquamantys® devices were associated with bands of tissue loss along the hepatic parenchymal transection line in this benchtop cadaveric model. This should be taken into account in the interpretation of resection margin status following liver resection.
