Abstract
We present an original birth weight distribution according to gestational age from a recent French population sample. Exclusion of maternal conditions which may affect fetal growth modify the data distribution, mainly for low birth weights and premature deliveries. Used in clinical practice, it could lead to better identify newborns with increased risk of postnatal complications.
