Abstract
Our research aims to identify the link between socioeconomic status, perceived health, quality of life, social and medical context in type 2 diabetes patients. Our results show that the precarious situation is related to a poor quality of life, a negative perception of the disease, a fragile and limited social context, and a special relationship with the general practitioner. The precarious situation influences the experience of the disease and should be considered in the care of patients.
