Abstract
The French Society of Hypertension (SFHTA) in its guidelines recommends the organization of a consultation dedicated to the announcement of the disease as soon as the diagnosis is confirmed. This article analyzes the issues of such a procedure, which might be applicable to the care of type 2 diabetes.
