Abstract
Deprived patients with diabetes and prediabetes present with an impaired quality of life and several defects in the quality of diet. Some factors characteristic of deprivation are mostly involved in the glycemic control status. An increased consumption of soft drinks by subjects unaware of their prediabetic status may play a role in the rapid emergence of T2D.
