Usage des plantes médicinales dans le traitement du diabète de type 2 au Maroc

Additional validated scientific data are clearly needed to improve knowledge on the mechanism of action and optimal use of medicinal plants before to be able to implement their use within the type 2 diabetes therapeutic armentarium. A particular attention has to be paid to sensibilize the general population as well as diabetic patients on the risks tied to an anarchical use of traditional/medicinal plants, particularly those with a known toxicity potential.
