Abstract
A1chieve is a 24-week, international, non-interventional, observational study, aimed to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of insulin analogs in routine clinical care in patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D). Here, we report data from the Algerian cohort switching from human insulin (HI) to insulin analogs. Overall, mean HbA1c decreased by 1.0% with clear reductions in fasting and postprandial plasma glucose. Hypoglycemia rates decreased markedly. Switching from HI to insulin analogs improved glycemic control with a reduced risk of hypoglycemia in Algerian T2D patients.
