Abstract
The Diabetes Attitudes, Wishes, and Needs 2 (DAWN2â¢) study shows the difficulties that people with diabetes but also family members have to reach the objectives of lifestyle behaviors (diet and physical activity) for the management of diabetes. Lifestyle behavior of people with diabetes impacted negatively the lives of the family members. This is also a major concern for healthcare professionals. For these three groups (people with diabetes, family members and healthcare professionals), there is a lack of education programs. Healthcare professionals would like to receive more postgraduate training in nutritional/physical exercise training management of diabetes. Some issues are proposed.
