Abstract
Energy density and portion size of foods are important properties of food that can modulate energy intake. To help patients in remembering what a serving size is supposed to be, the reference to their hand may be helpful. The hand may contribute to control the portion of food in restaurant as well as at home. It is an interesting tool for nutritional education which can assist patients to attain their weight goal.
