Abstract
Referring a patient to a therapeutic educational program in the scope of a chronic disease implies that its impact and administration are carefully assessed. For the teams involved in preparing and providing collective educational sessions, the issue is to set up an efficient evaluation, logistically compatible with patients and caregivers' availability. Telephone coaching may be an appropriate compromise. In our experience, such a coaching has been established without any difficulty and proven to be relevant, regarding the individual assessment as well as the evaluation of the program content itself.
