Abstract
The factors that are statistically related with refracture are age over 70 years, estrogen deprivation and difficulty getting out of the chair. Patients who received treatment for osteoporosis after the first vertebral fracture have a lower risk of refracture (OR of 0.32) in regards to the group that did not receive any treatment for osteoporosis.
