Abstract
Among patients with pancreatic SOD, DES and BES have similar effects in preventing recurrence of acute pancreatitis. Pancreatic SOD is an independent prognostic factor, identifying patients at higher risk for recurrent acute pancreatitis. Clinical Trials Registration: Clinicaltrials.gov (NCT01583517).
