Abstract
EUS-FNA is superior to PET/CT for preoperative PALN staging in patients with pancreatobiliary cancer. Because of the clinical benefit of EUS-FNA to reduce unnecessary surgery, it should be part of the standard preoperative examination for patients with pancreatobiliary cancer.
