Abstract
The article Pain and it's ‘evil’ presents functional explanation of pain assuming its informational role. This attitude presupposes that pain is simply information about the state of the subject. There is a difference between being in full and partial state of pain. Full state of pain comprises information alongside with emotional assessment. Being aware of information is not a necessary component of pain. Such an attitude avoids the error of introspectionism, behaviorism and theories that confuse level of realization with information. In the paper I completely reject possibility of identification of evil with pain and deriving obligation from ‘evil’ of pain.
