Abstract
This article reviews the current trends in biofeedback therapy for constipation and fecal incontinence. Pelvic muscle dysfunction biofeedback therapy is a group of therapies, including electromagnetic and manometric retraining, muscle stimulation therapy, and manual therapy, which can be used alone or in combination with medical management to improve patient outcomes for these conditions.
