The literature regarding mesh-related complications especially in the posterior vaginal compartment is incomplete and often it remains unclear whether the surgical technique or the employed mesh caused the complication. As the industry pushes and surgical training of conventional techniques diminishes, the use of synthetic mesh is tempting and anatomical results are promising.
