Abstract
Most hemorrhoidal disease is treated with medical management or nonexcisonal methods. However, for those patients who fail these treatments, excisional hemorrhoidectomy has proven to be a reliable, safe, and effective treatment. The technique and outcome of excisional hemorrhoidectomy is outlined in detail.
