Abstract
The availability of curved linear array echoendoscopes and development of dedicated drainage accessories have resulted in endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)-guided drainage of pancreatic pseudocysts as a credible alternative to drainages via the surgical or percutaneous route. However, outcome studies comparing the different alternative modalities and the different endoscopic techniques available to drain pancreatic pseudocysts are needed. This review details the different options that are currently available to drain pancreatic pseudocysts under EUS-guidance and their outcomes.
