Abstract
SummaryTumor lysis syndrome (TLS) is rarely induces after Transarterial chemoembolization for hepatocellular carcinoma. We present a patient with a large hepatocellular carcinoma who received twice transarterial embolization (TAE). Tumor lysis syndrome was induced after the first TACE in this patient. Due to the previous experience, precautionary measures were taken before the second TAE. Therefore no complications were noted afterwards. We should be aware of tumor lysis syndrome, especially in high risk patients.
