Abstract
This article explores the manifestations of anxious-depressive disorders in elderly subjects with Alzheimer's disease (AD) using the Senior Apperception Test (SAT), tree-drawing (TD), and presenting a clinical case. The SAT and TD tests, on account of their complementarity and as mediators in the therapeutic relationship, can highlight normal personality (resources, needs, desires) and pathological personality (deficits, fragilities, dysfunctions). They are particularly useful tools for elderly subjects with AD with difficulties in verbalization for cognitive or psychological reasons.
