Abstract
Dermatoporosis defines the clinical and functional aspects of a chronic cutaneous insufficiency/fragility syndrome related to the ageing of the skin. It mainly affects patients aged between 70 and 90 years old. We report the case of an 86-year-old patient who developed spontaneous hemorrhagic blistering purpura of the décolleté area and the arms that was initially mistaken for cutaneous vasculitis.
