Abstract
The debate on euthanasia describes a society that has withdrawn borderline situations, such as birth and the end of life. The risk is to think primarily about exceptions and discard a chance for everyone to stay human through to the end. It may be that some fundamental issues in society and people are evacuated or outrageously simplified, especially in the first place, that of human dignity.
