Abstract
Talking about sexuality in the elderly is still awkward and even more so when it concerns patients with Alzheimer's disease. Through nine autobiographical stories (published between 1992 and 2012) of husbands and wives of Alzheimer patients, we'll try to explore the marital relationship, when one spouse has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, and the readjustments made within the couple. This study offers a quick view of couples confronted with Alzheimer's disease; many reflections on intimate relationships that may help to extend our professional practices.
