Abstract
The contribution of functional imaging has made it possible to increase the legitimacy of the practice of hypnosis in many specialties. Since geriatrics require global management of the patient, it would profit from the contributions of this new therapeutic tool. Although studies are more numerous in analgesia therapy, the field of symptoms accessible to hypnosis is vast. Within the framework of neurodegenerative disorders, the practice will have to be adapted according to each patient and would allow an additional accompaniment for caregivers.
