Abstract
PENSA is a program of primary prevention proposed for people aged 60 years or older and designed to achieve successful aging by favoring nutritional balance, physical activity, intellectual stimulation, intergenerational relations and social life. Under the auspices of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Work, and the expertise of renowned specialists, a program will be conducted in four pilot cities in France: Contrexéville, Evreux, Royan and Saint-Pol-sur-Ternoise. This public health program will involve education, information and propositions for developing new behaviors for successful aging. For every pilot city, a project manager designated by the Mayor will create a pilot committee, which will operate within the framework of the guidelines set up by the national coordination to ensure the implementation of the policy in favor of seniors. An evaluation of this program will be conducted at the end of the first and of the fifth year.
