Abstract
This article discusses the contribution of a psychologist to individual and institutional therapy within a geriatric unit of a psychiatric clinic. The topic is illustrated by the case of Mrs D., a patient with a diagnosis of presbyophrenia, who was institutionalized in psychiatric unit because her behavioural disorders could not be controlled within a classical geriatric institution.
