Abstract
All the generations are concerned by a relative's end of life. Does communication exist between them or not? How are the parts cast in the family play? To examine the multigenerational dimension of the support given at the end of life, the Fondation Nationale de Gérontologie has conducted a qualitative analysis with carers working at home or in institution, volunteers, people at the end of their life and families.
