Abstract
From their psychogeriatric practice, since ten years, the authors ask the question about the impact of some psychoaffective factors (old and recent traumatic events, anxiety, depression), on the later dementia's development and ask the main question of the dementia's psychogenesis (the word dementia is here used as the degenerative dementia, the most famous is the Alzheimer's disease), with the help of the recent clinical, epidemiological, ethological, neurobiological and psychodynamic theories.
