Since its origin, the psychiatry of elderly plans the old patient suffering of psychic disorders in a global solution not to reduce him simply to a symptom. It is based on interdisciplinarity and interprofessionnality. After having specified these terms, we described the theoretical framework on our specific practice tests and after we pointed how this historical management at the patients currently threatened require a real team's functionning which does not go from oneself. Our reflexion comes to confirm that the care in psychiatry of elderly patients is a collective business implying the totality of the members of the team. The psychiatry of elderly patients knows to use common spaces to think the symptomatology of the patients and finally to help them to exceed the crisis.
